Youth (Ages 8 - 13)

Tournament Rules and Structure
**At least 1 member of each team must be of Pasifika descent**
ALL BRACKETS HAVE 2 POOLS OF 5 TEAMS EACH, “POOL A” AND “POOL B”
Each team will play every other team in their pool once.
Games will be played and scored as follows:
1. First Team to score 11 points first wins. NO DEUCE
2. Every win will give you a bonus of 2 extra points (giving you 13 points if you win)
3. Top 2 Teams with the most points at the end of the round robin advance to playoffs
a. Teams can score 10 points every game and get a total of 50 points and still advance to playoffs. EVERY POINT COUNTS
b. In case of a tie between points the decision then goes to head to head (who beat who in the pool play)
c. In the event the bracket play is exceeding the 2 hour time limit, we may enforce the rally scoring system in order to complete our event within the time frame allotted.
Playoff Structure
1st Place team from “POOL A” will play 2nd Place team from “POOL B” and vice versa
Winners will advance to GOLD MEDAL MATCH
Losers will advance to BRONZE MEDAL MATCH
ALL GAMES ARE STILL FIRST TO 11. NO DEUCE
